The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
